I have been through the whole continental United States and was most impressed with North Carolina. There is a lot of truth in southern hospitality. The worse was New Jersey.

North Carolina. I went there after being in N.J. for a weekend and kept getting the crap scared out of me from people putting their hand on my shoulder or slapping me on the back when they wanted to talk to me. (Of course--that was a long time ago.)
