There has been not true Communists elected to office in the U.S., although there have been lots of liberals. Liberals are Socialists, and Communism is derived from Socialism.

During the Soviet Union's run, they had access to collectively the largest agricultural resources in the world. The majority of the population was still agrarian and most people worked on farms. Yet millions of people starved to death.

Why was this? Was it because greedy corporations sold the crops? No, it was because centrally planned economies are so corrupt and inefficient that farms could not function. At the same time, commercial farms in the U.S. produced far greater output with far less resources and nobody starved. The market dictated what to plant and when to plant it, and what price the charge. With the market in charge, farms work. With the government in charge, people starve.

A liberal is someone who wants to put governments in charge of farms at the expense of business, with no sense for the consequences. A Communist is someone who wants to kill the farmer and take over his farm simply because the farmer has a farm and the Communist doesn't, regardless of the fact that the Communist has no idea how to run a farm.

BULL. Communitsts are not liberals and liberals are not communitsit. Communistists want to control every one the same. Librals want everyone to be equal. their is a big difference between being the same and being equal.

For instance you and me are Equals, we both have the potental to succed in what we put our minds to and we don't have laws that stop us from making as much money as we want and being what we want in a competitive work enviroment.

But we are not the same. You are obviously a conservitive, while i am a moderate. You may want to be a lawyer or a politicion while i am looking for higher education.

So the way to tell the difference between a communist and a liberal. Communists want a one doctor to make the exact same as every other doctor out there no matter how good they are. A Liberal wants both of those doctors to have the oppurtunity to make as much money as possible, based on their ability.

You can't. All the Communist Party members that were investigated decades ago just conveniently joined the Democratic Party which has been the case to the present.
