I'd place a manifold between the ears and connect the inflow to the amygdala.

An EXTREMELY pertinant question. I don't know exactly how I would change it, but there is no question at all that in the not too distant future the human brain WILL be enhanced. When the technology becomes available we will be modified to be more "intelligent" (in quotations because that is a very broad term). The fact is that our brains were designed to live in the Congo a million years ago; our environment has changed considerably and thus our mental processes can be improved upon. After a long time of continuous alterations, we will no longer even resemble homo sapiens.

The human brain is mostly two things: A waste of space and a waste of time. It would seem like nature, evolution, God, Whatever decided that the brains would never be as powerful as the laws of physics could allow.
Waste of time:
The neuron's nucleus take only 15 Picoseconds to process signals. But the axons take 1 to 10 miliseconds to send the processed information to other structures.
Waste of space:
There is a LOT of space between neurons.
Recently, neurophysics researchers suggested that there are quantum processes inside the brain, involving the Beta-Neurexin-Neuroligin-1 pair. There is some sort of quantum order and coupling involved. But given that the brains is mostly a waste of time and space, that quantum coupling, which only lasts about 15 picoseconds cannot spread very far in the brain.
What I would like to do is make the brain more compact, that way processed information would rapidly go from one cell to another and the quantum effect would spread to more brain cells.
My hypothesis is that this would give us increased intellectual powers.

i would change the part of the brain that likes sweets and fatty foods. not only would everyone be healthy but it would also end medical issues such as diabetes, strokes, arthritis, etc. large corporations would not make money from over indulgence, medical people would not be as busy as they are making jillions of dollars because we are too weak to control or impulses and urges. our brains would function better since the chemicals that work inside arent bogged down with gunk. all of our organs would funtion at a most optimum rate and we (America) would not be considered the most obese and overindulged country in the world.

I would change the way our brain replays bad or sad things that happen to us over and over and over. I know it is just a way of trying to problem solve, but if we had the ability to make that stop I think it would be a wonderful thing.
How would that change things - I think there would be a lot less mental anguish in the world.

I would figure out a way to make people use it. I really have a hard time dealing with stupidity. I don't know why it bugs me as much as it does. But that is what I would do. This would enable people to perform easy tasks that seem to be hard for so many. I would also make them realize something called responsibility and make them take responsibility for their actions and behaviors.
GREAT QUESTION Thanks for sharing it.
Good luck and God Bless

somebody is looking you Sharmili to settle for Lord Jesus.. in case you detect it a potential modernising faith you may avail his amenities.. lol..No offense. religious techniques are unlike medical discoveries / formulae and so on that alter with extra present day findings, infant! And Ram and Krishna had made variations in lots of thousands of lives of working in the direction of Bhakthi Margi's.. yet we are too busy to stay with anybody direction continuously and for this reason discover no progression . this isn't any longer the fault of the gadget yet our loss of perseverence. We learn distinctive texts and philosophies out of idle interest and for psychological prognosis relatively than trustworthy assimilation. consequently the holy literature are asked to no longer be stated to human beings without trustworthy longing or faith. i do no longer blame you, maximum human beings fall in this class. human beings preaching stepped forward religious philosophies are additionally in super soreness of types, because of the fact they had no longer tamed their minds to stand up to the vicissitudes of existence. there is numerous variety and excellence in our faith that attracts even liberal western thinkers and trustworthy aspirants to our Ashrams of types, yet we right here stay like frogs interior the pond no longer understanding the nectar interior the lotus around, on an identical time as bees from outer fields hum their thank you to our pond to savour the honey. wish I confirmed the lacking hyperlink.
