Just a minute or two. And it's a walk in the park aftering pushing a baby out.

Less than 30 mins probably. It just takes a push or two to get the placenta out and it doesn't hurt. After all, the placenta is all squishy and there are no bones!

For me it was one push. And I didn't have to push nearly as hard as I did with the baby. It's so easy, and painless that you probably won't even notice. The doc will have handed you your baby and you'll be too busy oohing and aahing over them. The doc will then say, I need you to push one more time to get the placenta out, and you still don't really have to pay attention or work hard.

it lasts only seconds, but can take up to a half hour to start, However. most people deliver the placenta just a few minutes after the baby.

actually it goes so fast that you hardly know it has happened after hrs. of labor that is nothing to even think about, it may hurt a little if the Dr. has to press on your stomach like mine did but it is over so fast and then of course you have all the excitement of the baby being there and it is just one more thing the Dr. has to do to get the job done so to speak it goes so fast.

It is very quick and with all the excitement of just delivering the baby you don't even notice. All of a sudden I saw the doctor pull it out and I was like "what is that"? It's pretty amazing.

Delivering the placenta you mean? If that's what you mean.. it's a few minutes.. hardly even that. I barely noticed it was happening because I was too busy fussing over my baby (with both kids).
