They always proclaim to support war, but when it comes to serving, they *run*.
And when those who have voiced dissent against it, they attack them and call them cowards for not signing up--when they themselves lack the courage to do so.
Yes, it is a chickenhawk mentality we have in this administration.
Which is WHY I am glad that November is only a couple months away.
We need change and accountability: Not more excuses and lies to pad the truth with.

Vietnam was escalated by Kennedy and Johnson. Democrats. Name calling goes both ways and I think you would be smart to remember that. Bad people need to be dealt with in the least confrontational way. That least way for Saddam was War. We had 14 UN resolutions against his breaching of the terms of his surrender during Gulf War one and he needed to be held accountable. If you don't agree with that then how many resolutions were we going to let him break. I want an exact number.

You don't know what "chickenhawk" means.
Wars are fought by white middle class men, and all are volunteers, not drafted.
You sound like you heard someone else say stuff and now you parrot it even though its untrue.
Talk white, dammit. "gung whore".

No intelligent person wants war, but sometimes it is inevitable. If some fool threatens you with violence, you try to avoid them. If you can't avoid them, you must remove their ability to hurt you. As Erwin Rommel said, "The goal of war is to save lives."

The premise of your question is bogus. It supposes that Lincoln and Roosevelt and Johnson were closet republicans.
