I just watched some videos on youtube from the MAURY show showing some people who's phobic of balloons, pickles and mustard. I dont know, but they seem serious and really terrified. Do you think this is possible?How in the world could a person be terrified of a pickle or balloon?This is the link to the vid so that you know what im talking about.

I don't like balloons & am somewhat afraid of them because I have an allergy to latex...I think with the other fears it sounds like a fear of choking.

you can be afraid of anything. just because you're not afraid of it, doesn't mean that others aren't. I know somebody that is afraid of stickers. It may seem stupid to you, but if you saw what it does to that person, you wouldn't have these doubts.

i saw the episode you're referring to. it's strange! there was one guy who was afraid of peaches!! i think they're legitimately scared. i was wondering how do you get to that point? it was interesting to watch!
