What Sims 2 custom content downloads sites do you use?

I love custom content for my sims. I just want to know what sites people use because all the real gems are only known by word of mouth.

I love modthesims2 - for skins, eyes, clothes and game mods. There's now a shower using a wooly mammoth for a spout plus little kid toys that look like a little cow or llama toy. Too much stuff.

I use the Official Exchange mostly to get the best houses from some of my favorite Sim people, houses without hacks. (the site will tell you if its hacked - other sites don't)

For nice hair and clothes mostly I use modthesims2 above but sometimes I go all over the place, no one favorite. I generally use the sites that are no pay sites. But the simsresource sometimes has freebies.

if u download things for ur sims 2 game it just makes it slower and the graphics get worse. my friend has every game and now her sims 2 seasons is messed up because she downloaded stuff for it and the game is slow. i would never download stuff. yea its cool to get nice hair, clothes, and other things but i am not wasting my $ bcause it messes up my whole game!
