Keyboards are pretty generic. Occasionally, the keyboard has a bit of extras. However a plain keyboard will work just fine. Before you go out and buy one check out the flyers in the Sunday paper there are often free keyboards after rebates for stores like CompUSA or Best Buy.

Buy an external USB-connected keyboard. They don't cost anywhere near $100. Go to a reputable computer parts store or find one online.

Try calling HP. They may be able to just send you one you can just pop on. They may not even charge you.
