Because when a person has a problem he often cannot see the forest for the trees. God's point of view allows him to see the trees, the forest, the plains, the lakes, the rivers, the oceans, the mountains, and everything else in your way. Who's vantage point do you think will give you the most accurate information?

The human race is instilled with the idea that there is a higher power. Hence the many different religions around the world. Religion helps us answer questions that come up in everyday life for centuries. Where did we come from? Why are we here? Life leads us to find purpose in ourselves. Higher power helps us cope with that need for purpose.

Yes indeed it would be more simple for us to focus on oneself. Instead, as the human race we tend to want to place the blame on other outlining causes as just human nature. We feel like we have no problems and we're not to blame so we blame it on others. Its easier, really, because we don't want to dwell on problems that come internally. Sadly we create bigger problems, only to lead to more problems for us and problems that others out there can place the blame on.

In God theres a single constant, especially when things are falling apart a constant that will never change, a constant that no matter what will love you and give you strength. he has the answers and he provides comfort and love and hope. but you must have faith.

because people would rather put their faith in something that is not there than in themselves.
humans are notorious for passing the buck so when something goes wrong they will have someone/thing else to blame other than themselves.

becauase left is associated with wrong, right is associated with right, but when the "if" comes in about a particular issue, they always look UP to God because only he can help decide what is right or wrong.

if you think about it, God is in all of us...therefor when your looking up, your asking yourself.
