I am a magnet for mosquitos. I could be sitting next to someone and get bitten 10 times and the other person not once. Why is this? Is there a certin blood type they like, or smell or something?

Mosquito attraction to humans is a very complex matter. Primarily, mosquitoes are attracted to the carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted from the breath and pores of humans. In addition to CO2, some species of mosquitoes are attracted to certain fragrances and colors. During mosquito season it is recommended that people who wish to be less attractive to mosquitoes wear unscented products (hair spray, soap, deodorant, etc.) and light colored clothing.

Generally, mosquitos are attracted to individuals with Type O blood; those are are overweight; and there is something else they are attracted to, but i can't remember. But, i know it sucks!! Mosquitos love me too, I am type O and all I know to do it to keep the rubbing alcohol next to my bed so i can swab myself down in it at night to keep from itching so bad.

Its your smell and what you eat. Try this drink a glass of water with baking sod dissolved in it once a day. Then your bosdy will be alkaline and wont attract the mozzie. Also check your perfume and if the scent is really sweet then you will be attracting heaps of them
