I went to this site called, "Sparksnotes", and they had all kinds of study guides and stuff online. I know that they are famous for notes selling in-stores, but are the information online accurate too? I mean it's free, so wouldn't have less effort in it or something, or is it just free, and good to use? I am reading "To Kill a Mocking Bird", and I need summaries, because the book is too long... Please help me, and tell me if "Sparknotes" is accurate!!!

Sparknotes are so good! I'm in AP English and I use them all the time. However, I'd definitely skim the book at the very least. To Kill a Mockingbird has little details in it and you might need to know them for school.

I'd definitely read the book. You never know what the questions might ask, there may be a bunch of tiny details in there you need to know. Also, when I was in high school, I had teachers that went on the website and knew what the notes had included. If anything, you may want to at least read the book really quick and then look at the notes, but I would strongly recommend reading the book, you might end up with having to write an essay about it, instead of a regular test.

I am not sure if things like "Free study guide for the SAT" is accurate, but whenever I want a summary of a book to review what I have already read, they seem up to par.

YES! Sparknotes is like THE homework bible.

It helped me out a lot when I was reading Too Kill A Mockingbird, too!

Its great for homework that is related to litterature... It's got great info on MacBeth, The Great Gatsby and Of Mice and Men too...

I thought spark notes were great when I had to learn Shakespear's Hamlet for college. It had the Shakespearian language on one side and regular english on the other side of the pages. The commentaries and notes were very helpful too. I liked them alot better than Cliff Notes.
