The average IQ is 100, so anything above that is considered good. Below is a list of the breakdowm of IQ scores:

IQ
Description
% of Population

130+
Very superior
2.2%

120-129
Superior
6.7%

110-119
High average
16.1%

90-109
Average
50%

80-89
Low average
16.1%

70-79
Borderline
6.7%

Below 70
Extremely low
2.2%

And, here's what someone decided is the breakdown of professions that members of an IQ range generally go into:

140
Top Civil Servants; Professors and Research Scientists.

130
Physicians and Surgeons; Lawyers; Engineers (Civil and Mechanical)

120
School Teachers; Pharmacists; Accountants; Nurses; Stenographers; Managers.

110
Foremen; Clerks; Telephone Operators; Salesmen; Policemen; Electricians.

100+
Machine Operators; Shopkeepers; Butchers; Welders; Sheet Metal Workers.

100-
Warehousemen; Carpenters; Cooks and Bakers; Small Farmers; Truck and Van Drivers.

90
Laborers; Gardeners; Upholsterers; Farmhands; Miners; Factory Packers and Sorters.

Of course, take the above lists for what they're worth. Personally, I would never choose my life's work on the basis of a test. Here's the source of these stats and plenty of other info if you're still interested:

RE:
Is an I.Q. of 113 good or bad? how do u know?

An IQ of 100 is average. The standard deviation of IQ tests is usually 15 points. This means that about 2/3 of people fall between 85 and 115. It also puts 113 at about the 80th percentile.

There's no bad or good I.Q. I got an I.Q. of 63 when I was a kid and my entire life was revolved around that, everyone thought I was stupid. It's bullsh!t, I'm now studying meds and have been top of my class since I got into college. It's just another bullsh!t system put into place to label people

It's just about average. I was tested many years ago and came out with 125. At that time there were still several questions on the test related to literature which skewed the results. Hopefully, your test didn't have things like that.

Average or slightly above average.

But your IQ alone doesnt mean much. You can have all the intelligence in the world, but what good is it if you never do anything with it?

That number will only mean what you want it to mean

It is superior to even higher IQs because its my IQ and I feel so damn smart it scares me to the point of soiling my BVDs.
