The Royals. They have to face the Twins, White Sox and Tigers, all of whom are fighting for a spot in the playoffs and KC is going to get caught in the middle. The royals have more losses anyways.

I think the Pirates will manage to avoid 100 losses this year - they only need to win 8 out of their last 25, and they've been playing .500 ball since the All-Star break. The Royals have it tougher - they have to win at least 12 more games to avoid 100 losses.

The Royals have 6 games left against Detroit, 4 left with Minnesota, 2 left with New York, two left with Los Angeles, and 3 left with Boston. They'll hit 100 losses easily.
