Im 18, I havn't had my peroid since July 23-29, I am usually every 31 days.. sometimes sooner, I am sexually active and took a pregancy test but it showed up negative... I am not in any pain or discomfort down there or have discharge, does anyone know of or have any medical problems that can cause your peroid to just stop for no reason?

Just because you took the test doesn't mean that you aren't pregnant.
It takes about 10 days to get a positive preg test on a home preg test.
There are other causes of period failure....
Anorexia
Stress
Premature Ovarian failure
Hormone Problems
Taking back to back birth control pills
Etc...
I would make sure that you get tested again.

i might come across an internet site you are able to refer decrease back to! some human beings think of you merely count variety each and every 4 weeks and thats what proportion months you're... yet that isn't real otherwise we would be pregnant for 36 weeks. a million-4 weeks 2-8weeks 3-12wks 4-16weeks 5-20weeks 6-24weeks 7-28weeks 8-32weeks 9-36weeks So we are actually pregnant for 10 months! It merely relies upon on the way you count variety it, whether you check out distinctive web content you will see they count variety it in yet differently... right this is how i ought to it! My due date is January 9. So do exactly this with your very own due date. a million-(theory month) April 9 2-could 9 3-June 9 4- July 9 5- Aug 9 6- Sept 9 7- Oct 9 8- Nov 9 9- Dec 9 then my tenth month might initiate on my Due date that's January 9. i'm hoping that facilitates, that's the least confusing way i've got arise with!!

Did you take a blood test or use an over the counter home pregnancy test? Most reliable if you go to the doctor's office. If you exercise alot, stress, eating habits, polycystic ovarian disease, change in lifestyle etc can cause a delay in menstruation. Some STD's are asymtomatic (ie no discharge or pain) But the bottom line is that this could be a health issue that should be directed to a health care professional.

Stress is one of the number one causes of missed or delayed menstruation. At your age it is also common as your hormones are still changing and you could be recycling. I agree with the fact that you need to go to your physician to be checked for pregnancy, as well as other possible medical reasons. It is better to be safe than unaware and sorry later. Good Luck.

it takes at least a week if not two for a pregnancy test to be able to determine if you are or arent, if you are very physically active in sports that can stop it, if you are on a very strict diet and actually very thin that will stop it, you just dont know, seeing a doctor is the best answer, but you can take the pregnancy test again.

Stress can cause you not to have your period, or if your body fat isn't over a certain percentage of your mass. If your eating well and not in discomfort, as you said, it's probably just stress. You could always see a gynecologist and ask.

You probably are occasionally having what is called an "anovulatory cycle", meaning occasionally you don't make an egg. When that happens your period may be longer or shorter than usual.

But get another pregnancy test just to make sure.

There are lots of reasons why you wouldn't get your period other than pregnancy. Stress, weight loss or gain, poor eating habits... just to name a few. If you're worried, go see your doctor.
