For oily and acne prone skin, the best thing to do is to use a foundation specially formulated for oily skin, I really recommend Maybelline dream matte mousse. Foundation also stays put longer, and doesn't start being shiny from the oil in your skin.
Then, over the top of your foundation, use a thick coverstick concealer (liquid doesn't work as well) such as Miss Sporty Coverstick. The best concealers have an anti-bacterial ingredient in them such as tea tree to help banish the pimple.
Make sure all your makeup is non-comedogenic (won't block pores). hope this helps, take care x

I use a mineral based make up. Its called Jane Iredale and it is a bit more expensive then regular make up, but worth the extra money. It is a very natural look with great coverage, and it has a light feeling on the skin- not the heavy caked look like oil based make up. This make up not only prevents breakouts, but helps blemishes fade. I have never had a bad problem with acne, but I use this make up in conjunction with Proactiv and it is the best thing I could have done for my skin.

I have extremely acneprone skin. my absolute favorite is Clinique clarifying powder makeup. i dont use foundation, i just use the powder. It really evens out your skin tone and covers acne really well. it's made for oily skin as well. I love it.
