why people call people ugly?

Question

No one is ugly, everyone is beautiful on the inside, why do people care too much about the outside?
After all the outside is just a shell keeping the real beaty safe and secure.
I think this world is full of shallow people.

because some people are ugly? When people call others ugly, they can be referring to the outer or the inner. not eVERYONE is beautiful on the inside, in fact I know plenty of beautiful women on the outside with ugly insides, so your question is wrong. I think it is mean to call people "ugly". we say they are "just not cute"... but I don't care to judge people that way. But I swear I think the world is nicer to prettier people. and I thank God every day I'm decent looking, isn't that awfully sad? But the world we live in I think holds the more beautiful people whether that be in body or face, to higher standards. does that make sense? People are shallow and will never change, hopefully everyone finds someone for everyone though.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but to be good-looking is one thing, and to be a nice person is something completely unrelated to that. So someone can perfectly be ugly and nice or beautiful and an azzzzhole.
This may come as a surprise, but beauty is a mathematical concept. There is actually a math formula to determine who's good looking, in general.

Also, beauty is not a learned process, it seems to be rather instinctive. Babies will crawl more often towards good-looking people than ugly ones.

exactly and those shallow people are the ones that live only out of material stuff...like the latest cellphone,the most expensive clothes and basically that has happens in high school and middle school a lot...and it sucks....i mean my mom always tells me when she was younger people were not this way that they called each other names like ugly,stupid,fat and even slut...gosh i hate that...and it really bugs me cuz im not those type of people and it sucks to see so many people get hurt by other people...but God looks at everything and he knows what to do and who to punish...all i do is keep my head high and ignore after all i know it's not true and probably they are just envious about something or have issues at home or somewhere else...that's what life's about.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
One can be so pretty but may have a disposition that makes her ugly. On the other hand a person maybe considered a plain Jane type and have a delightful personality and disposition that makes her indeed attractive.

first off peoples insides are very ugly. second off there are people out there who are not good people and are by all rights ugly people. It does not matter what you look like on the outside if you have an ugly soul no one will really find you attractive.
