Salt water and sugar water boils before pure water. Since sugar boils and burns before salt boils but salt never burns in a home I guess sugar water boils first. All solutions boil at a lower temperature as you decrease the air pressure like on a mountain.

most sports drink as sugar, salt and water. salt retains water and water and sugar tastes good. A good example is Gator aid - to recover from dehydration.

This is basically the simplest formula for oral rehydration as in cases where one has lost a lot of fluids because of diarrhea. Check out wildernessdrum.com for more if you're really interested. I've never tried drinking it so I don't know the flavor. It would probably taste a bit like a sport drink.
