I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "moral truths" but I'll do my best.
The major one: All men are created equal.
And maybe education is the key to freedom.

Why not try READING the book? Seriously it is a great book. A short one is that power corrupts. The way the pigs come to power and then take advantage of it is an intresting truth. Also I don't think some will fully grasp the story because of the rather obvious political undertones. Seriously though the book is basically a description of the Soviet Union and their form of Communism.

For the record I read the book a few years ago, don't fully remember it. Also read 1984. The pigs basically lead the animals in revolt, but then became as corrupt and took over leading the farm and were as bad, if not worse, then the people. The Animal Farm commandment thing was a great illistration of the power corruption.

It's a short book - you could read it and think about it in only a little more time than you've spent trying to get somebody else's ideas here.
