I think it is safe, especially if it is ready to blow on its own. I'd rather squeeze it, and get rid of it, instead of it busting on its own by accident. Like one of those huge ones you get on your back or shoulder.

Yes, its fine to pop a pimple if it has a head on it. But don't keep squeezing it after you've popped it!

You should take a warm washcloth and place it on the pimple and press down, if that doesn't work, use 2 Q-tips to gently squeeze. NEVER use fingernails, it will cause scarring!

Yeah it's safe..but if u are going to use your fingernails, do it gently bit by bit. But don't squeeze all the way till it bleeds, then it's going to leave a scar.

Can also cause infection, and it can make the pimple worse. Scarring can be bad too.

When you do that, be aware that it CAN cause scars. They do go away...in about a year though!
