If you are considering a career in real estate, in Canada.
The real estate laws of the land require you to be licensed and have completed the licensing education of the province you are planning to live in.

Do a search for the real estate cources in each province, in BC the course is conducted by UBC and takes about 6 months to complete, but can be done for the most part on line, only the exam requires you to either attend an scheduled exam session or you could go to UBC and complete the exam on a computer there

But on the direct question, once you are eligable to be a realtor in Canada, there are very few companies that would not hire you.

As far as sponsoring people, from an educational point of view, in BC that is no longer required, if it is for you to get a landed immigrant status, I doubt very much that the immigration service would consider a realtor status to be addequate for them to approve an application, but if you are able to get a letter from a company stating that they would offer you a position (which anyone will do) once you are licensed or are eligable to be licensed in their jurisdiction, it may assist your immigration status.

As an immigrant myself, I wish you good luck, I am still very proud and feel so lucky to have been allowed to live in this awesome country
