I am sure that we will know something soon. I live in Cairns and I have a source in the police department...i knew he was in the mourge before it was even on the radio or on Yahoo! I will post it here somewhere if I hear of a memorial any time soon...

I assume by memorial you mean service, not monument as some others have assumed you meant. Well there was talk this morning about a state funeral and due to his incredible popularity i would assume a memorial and a monument, which is nothing less than he deserves.... RIP Steve, we will miss you xx

Yes! there will be i think it will be on Thursday or later during the week, I think everyone in the world will be having a memorial for they all knew who he was and what he did...

yes, the queensland minister will be running a memorial for steve, but he has said he will wait until he can speak with steves wife and doesnt want to impose on her at this time....

they're planning on doing a state funeral which is stupid because its taxpayer money and he wasnt even that popular in queensland evryone made fun of him and he made australians look like idiots i mean seriously *crikey* who the hell says that

Myself my husband and esp my children are very upset. We all were devoted veiwers. As bad as this sounds he did pass away doing what he loved.
