Skewed means too far to one side or the other, like lopsided. For example a curve whereby it is equal on both sides with the median or middle part is at the highest level, like a bell is a bell-shaped curve. If you have a curve where the bell is way over to the right with a long tail on the left side, this is considered a curve skew to the right.
It can also mean that certain variables have caused an influence in the end result. Ie: the results are skewed.
It is a term that is usually used in statistics or research.
