Saturday my husband & I were out running errands & at one stop, a large variety store we saw no less than 10 (when we stopped counting) very overweight women in low rise pants & crop tops with flesh spilling out everywhere. My husband said we had better get out of there before we had to scoop our eyes out with a spoon!!!
Now, since having my boys, I KNOW I am 20-25 lbs. over weight, BUT I OWN A FULL LENGTH MIRROR!!!! I wear clothing that covers my problem areas. I know I don't want it just hanging out for all to see. I don't care what the fashion of the day is, HOW CAN YOU PEOPLE WALK OUT OF YOUR HOUSES LOOKING LIKE THAT???? How can you look in the mirror & think that looks even O.K.???? Do the mirrors in your houses only go down to your shoulders????
Let me give you a nickels worth of free advise......
Just because they sell it in your size or what you "think" is your size... Does NOT mean it LOOKS GOOD!!!!!!!

OOOOO!!!! Carolmere you have cut me to the quick with your retort!!! Ya Right!!!
I do NOT consider myself better nor do I think I am perfect as I have stated. But when you put EVERYTHING on display dispite how it looks you are setting yourself up for ridicule. My husband & I were NOT the only people apparently AMAZED that someone would choose to be out in public partialy dressed. MANY people were craning their necks & whispering behind their hands & DO NOT tell me that YOU haven't done the samething!!!!!

As for James 1965
I am the original non-conformist. I have usually done the opposite JUST BECAUSE....
BUT COME ON!!!!!!!!!
NOT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE TO LOOK AT IT!!!!!!

By the way, I DO NOT have a problem with people who are overweight, my mother in-law & my brother-in-law are both large people, but they DO NOT dress like they got their clothes from my 10 yr. old son!!!!!

Being a full figured woman, I hate to see women like that. My motto is just because Lane Bryant sells it, doesn't mean you should wear it

Sometimes the person they see in their mind and the person in the mirror do not quite match up, so they do not dress accordingly. Many people follow trends, fads, or what they think is "hot" rather than what is flattering to their body type. It is quite sad, but maybe with a couple million more "What Not to Wear" episodes we can start to see some changes. ;)

Maybe these people who do not meet your dress code are non-conformist and do not care what you think.I will have to be honest, I do not much care to see anyone dress inappropriately. But who am I to dictate taste, it's just none of my business.

Look, if someone wants to show their stupidity and dress inappropriately even if it is disgusting to see belly rolls and cellulite. I have no problem letting people be people.Even if they are completely naked, who cares? We are not fashion police. If someone has a rock hard body, is very attractive and makes the choice to dress inappropriately that's ok also.
