I mean to say, do you consider watching football a desirable male trait? (yes I know a few women watch football, too). I ask this
because I cannot stand football. I am a typical male in most
every way, but wasting my sunday's watching football as a low
sun sets over a winter landscape is not my idea of living.
The thought of it makes me want to puke. Yet this is what
many guys want to do on their Sundays. So again ladies,
is watching football a male trait that you enjoy?

YES!!! i wouldnt have much in common with a guy if he doesnt like sports or football...but i do agree that it takes up maybe too much time ..football frenzy should be reserved for weekends -not 24/7 unless its your job

Its all a matter of personal preference..,if you dont like football dont date a woman that does..,or she might get you to watching it lol.Thats all a part of relationships and the dating process is finding someone with the same interests and then in some cases opposites attract.Me,personally,I grew up in a house dominated with men,3 brothers and my Dad..,football was as a common family affair for us..,we all got together and had a great time watching the games.No fighting it was great and I love football to this day..,well profootball.

Absolutely! Actually, in LA, we started a group of 'football widows' where we not only got together to watch the games, but also started our our fantasy league too. Made it much more fun to watch the games - it's enjoying- it's physical - no guns/violence/rape, etc. just guys enjoying the game. We've been going strong 13 years now...we take an annual trip together TOTALLY without our guys. I have to admit I just subscribed to Sports Illustrated for me and for my kids...I'm a sports junkie! Think about it - how much time do you 'waste' sitting in a bar bullshitting with your buddies? Plus this way, you get to talk about lots of plays, trades, touch downs - I totally love it. Go Packers!!!

My boyfriend loves football!! He played football in high school and was offered a scholarship to Georgia Tech to play. (He didn't go because of an injury).
But we get along great! I come from a huge family of football fans, so of course, we all gathered around the TV tonight to watch Seminoles vs. Hurricanes.

i think it's great when a guy wacthches football it usually gets me time to shop with my gurls but my dad dosen't like wacthin foot unless it's the superball which is still fun @ half time and it's always great when my family cooks!
