My boss is very controlling and can be demanding. I have been with the company for 8 years and ever since she's been promoted as a manager she has been a *****! The company requires 2 weeks notice for vacation time and I've always give months notice and she denies me every time! I have so much vacation time and I will lose it if I don't use it! I finally had enough and called in( which is unlike me) Next thing I know I will not get paid for the days I took off. Company policy allows you to use vacation days when you have it available. She is a mean lady and it seems like she likes retaliation. How do I handle this situation?

Very Carefully. Be Polite but be Honest .Start with when you have some time I need to speak with you .When you meet with her tell her how you feel and you want to be a team player but you also wanted to be treated like the valuable employee you are .Tell her how it makes you FEEL when you cant use your vacation when you Choose then it is all on her to do the right thing Hope this Helps

You have three choices: 1) Find a new job, 2) Talk to her then her boss if you can't resolve the problem, 3) Contact an outside (as in the feds or state) about not taking your vacation, you may win there, you will lose at work. If you chose option 1, get your vacation check or sue, if you choose option 2 or 3 you soon will be doing option 1.

You should go to personnel and see if they can help you figure out how to deal with this lady. You also should ask them about why they didn't pay you for the time you took off when you had all that vacaction time. And ask your boss why she is denying you vacation time when you are giving months notice. If you continue to act like a doormat people will walk all over you, you need to stand up for yourself!

If you've honestly tried everything with her with no results you need to go to her boss. Just keep in mind that this is going to forever poison your relationship with your boss. The way you describe the situation it doesn't sound like it can get much worse though.

This guy or woman is a noisy mouth, crude guy or woman who would not be responsive to the thank you to set a sturdy occasion for the employees to persist with. what sort of provider is this middle rather offering with considered one of those supervisor in value? i may be nervous in bringing my babies to a place like this the place the administrative is treating his/her workers that badly. Do you honestly could desire to proceed to be at that distinctive artwork place? i would not desire to adventure this consistent destructive scientific care. consistent with danger you could ask the suggestion of an lawyer if the administrative is talking badly approximately you.

There must be someone higher than her. Next time submit your request to that person and explain what you think is going on. Do they not have to pay you for unused vacation time?

Make little comments about how pretty her feet are and how good she smells..make sure to immediately walk away and don't make eye contact. This will make her very uncomfortable but will prevent any immediate response.

When she gets your next vacation response she will grant it just to get rid of you for awhile.
