I was just wondering who's your favorite and who do you think will win?
What do you think of Delana? Does her personality influence you on how you vote?

Many on this message board, and those on others, have stated repeatedly that Dilana should win this thing, even despite her negative comments on the web episode, and her subsequent breakdown. Truth is, it takes more than solid vocal prowess to front a band. Character goes a long, long way. Her faux pas in which she insulted the talent, behavior, and commitment of her fellow contestants shows you she doesn’t know how to read media manipulation, she is an opportunistic backstabber, and she doesn’t have the emotional resilience to tolerate criticism, as demonstrated by the tantrum she threw which almost injured Magni. I am sorry but it doesn’t matter how much talent you have, interpersonal skills are paramount in the success of any group enterprise, whether it be running a corporation, or being the lead singer of a band. Plenty of musical ensembles have disbanded because of the dogmatism and the erratic behavior of one band member.

Secondly, she has been lacking in the talent department as well. I full acknowledge that she has powerful pipes, but she is almost completely devoid of song writing ability. This was demonstrated early on in one of the earlier web episodes where each contestant had to write their own melody to a Supernova instrumental track. Of all the contestants Supernova commented that her song writing was the least memorable, even down right tacky. Her deficiency in this department was reiterated again in this week’s web episode where Gilbe Clark conducted a song writing clinic with the remaining 5 contestants (Toby, Lucas, Storm, Magni, and Dilana). Her choice of words were childish. The melody line that she chose for the lyrics completely clashed with the background track Supernova created. She even expressed her disdain for writing music, stating that she only intended to be a vocalist, not a songwriter. Sorry babe, but being able to write lyrics, and assist in the formulation of musical compositions is a seminal part of being in a band. If you want other people to write music for you, that you just merely parrot, go try out for American Idol.

When you assess a musician in their totality, of those remaining, Toby and Magni seem to be the strongest contenders. They have cooperative and convivial personalities. They both are fairly skillful at coming up with compositions on the fly and have done well with reworking arrangements to classical hits. I wouldn’t mind seeing any one of these two guys fronting Supernova.

I am all over RockStar this year. I love Delana. She did mess up- ROYALLY!!! But hopefully her fan base will rebound this week. She has the voice and now that the band has basically said: "you screwed up- but so have we"- I hope that her voters will return. Her whole situation, I believe, was escalated by the producers. I am sure the others (at least one) talked crap. I think the spotlight went to her beacuse: A.) the band doesn't want a female and this was the way to dethrown her. B.) This is part of her personality that we just haven't seen and it was time to show us. C.) It was a juicy piece of footage to raise the ratings.
I vote for C. and I do hope Delena makes it the whole way. I don't even see her as a chick when she is on stage- she's a musician, point blank.
Her personality doesn't sway my vote. If that was the case- I wouldn't even watch the show. It's about the music.
Interestingly enough, the media seems to really be pumping Lucas this week. I have nicknamed him scunkboy!

I'm not sure who'll win anymore. I want to say it'll be either Storm or Magni, since the Dilana Debacle. My favorite is Storm, she's got the voice and the attitude that I love, I voted for her and Patrice mostly. I like Toby too, he's cool.

Honestly I don't think Dilana needs any help with votes, so I don't vote for her, even though she's got a spooky-cool voice. I wish the band and Dave would stop buttering her and Lukas up, that's why those two have so many problems on the "reality" segment of the show. If they hear that they're the best right now, imagine when more fame and money hits.

I actually like Rock Star Supernova, even though I'm not much of a rock fan.

I think Delana's voice is incredible and although she screwed up, I think she should go all the way.

I also really like Storm Large. She's very versatile.

I like Delana .. if it's gonna be a female winner it'll be her. I think she's made some mistakes but no one is perfect. I have voted for her the most. I like Magni a lot too. I think they fit the sound Supernova seems to be trying to grasp. I am looking forward to see who wins!

Dilana's voice influences my vote along with all of the other singers on the show. That being said, her voice is raspy and dirty sounding, and every single song she sings sounds exactly the same. Storm isn't rock and roll. She needs to go home. Magni should win...every single song he sings sounds incredible. If not him, maybe Toby. He's definitely Rock and Roll and a great front man for the band but his voice doesn't compare to Magni's. Due to last weeks outcome, I'm convinced Supernova wants to create a crappy band.

I think one of the guys should win. I liked Delana,but after her breakdown I think she's too high strung to front the band. I still thinks she rocks though. I don't like Storm. So definately one of the guys should wim IMO.

I think that Australian guy will win... whats his name Toby? Im surprised the guy Ryan got booted last week... I thought he would be there at the end. That Dilana chick does have an attitude but I do think she can sing... just not sure that they will pick a woman to front the band... as long as it isnt that Lukas guy Im good...
