I can remember when I was 16 and first got my license. It only took $10-13 on average to fill up my little ford escort and that would last for days and days... *sigh*
I'm 20 now... so it wasn't THAT long ago... what the hell happened?!?!

Fuel prices will go down when we as Americans stop buying as much and their sales go down. Everyone thinks fuel companies are some sort of friendly people that are in business to do us a favor. They are in business to make money. If we are willing to pay it then why shouldn't they charge it? I haven't seen any less traffic on the roads. We are using just as much as always. It will go even higher before anything.

Now that the oil companies have seen that even though prices reached over $3 and everyone still paid for it,NEVER IN YOUR LIFE TIME!

when we elect a dem. They will have to raise taxes to pay for the mismanagement for the last 6 years. Rember the 600 dollors you got back in 00, now we are paying for it.

I actually paid 1.58 for gas. Hopefully it is going down everywhere.

Not in our life time. I used to pay .32 per gal. but that will not happen again.
