I've got most of it planned--a dance and swim party on a friday night with about 25-30 guys and girls who are around the age of 13.
What I need is some suggestions to make the party one to remember! I'm already going to have a spectacular cake, a board that peoplecan sign. I will also have a spot to take pictures. I'm not sure what else to do. It won't be structured activity, but we will fill up water balloons, beach balls, ect. before the party so that people can use them as wanted. The invites are on chocolate bar wrappers, and kids will be able to take home a decorated "chinese take-out"-style box filled with candy.I want more ideas to make this the most memorable party ever. Please don't suggest a theme, as that is not what I ask for. Thanks.

Play water balloon volleyball. Split people into teams of two and give each of them a towel. Then find a volleyball net at the beach and play. It's lots of fun. Have music so people can dance!
Check out www.breezybeachwear.com for some pretty silk flower hair clips or beach accessories for yourself or for your guests.

I helped with my sisters 13th bday party last month. Everyone fav... we purchased her fav tracks from napster & downloaded the ones she already had & made cd's for everyone to take home. We lightscribed the cd but you can write on them if you prefer. It said "Niki's 13th Birthday" & had her pic on it. The cd had 13 songs on it all of which are extremlly popular right now. Everytime on of her friends plays the cd, they think of the good time they had at her party. We also did a stupid dance off & used early 90s music, like mc hammer & vanilla ice, it was cheezy but everyone was cracking up & had a blast!!!

it sounds like you have alot of nice fun already planned, and to me, anything over this would just be wasted. the main thing at this age is getting together, listening to music, having fun, and them getting the chance to socialize. I would make sure there area good number of adults around to supervise, so play doesnt get out of hand ( especially since its a pool party), make sure there are some ground rules also- but I would have them do some water volleyball, or marco polo, and have some other pool type things to keep them engaged. but the main thing is this age is to let them hang out together and socialize. make sure to get the music right! good luck and try to enjoy the day.

Hire a DJ for the dance so they can make request. End the night with a new puppy. Whenever someone asks where they got their dog they will remember that night.

The game twister comes to mind. Also take one 8X10 picture of her from every year of her life and display them for her friends to see. Or you could make a photo cd to music, and have it playing so guests can watch it on tv. You can make one on windows movie maker.

nicely, i might recommend which you ask first, instead of call for that somebody answer you. Then pass to interest foyer or a craft keep and look at their books for concepts of what you like. decide waht you like your topic to be, then persist with it. Princess, Horses, Unicorns, etc,are all subject concerns for a 13yo...it alldepends on what you like.

I apologize on behalf of the other idiotic answers you received (i.e., strippers, coke. etc.)
How about some games/contests that can be played with partners. Even if they seem corny at first, I guarantee people will be laughing as they're acting silly.

If you want it really memorable, get your dad or fat uncle to wear a speedo and do a rap/dance number for everyone. it won't be forgotten.
