Here's the deal... I'm not afraid to work. Infact, that's what I want. I do have a HS diploma but I've always been in factorys. The problem is, that I get so bored with every job I've ever had. I need something to keep me busy. It's pretty bad when u have to debate every nite on weather or not to go to work. I know I have to, but any ideas on what else I could do?? I'd like to find something on 3rd shift near St. Louis, Missouri. (and nothing sexual!!)

I HATE being miserable at work! It is no way to live your life. You need something fast paced and with lots of variety to make the day go by- and if you felt like you were making a difference you would feel rewarded. Maybe child care at a residential facility (challenging and rewarding and typically runs on 3 shifts) or a security screener at the airport, or something in a hospital.... Just some random ideas- I'd suggest taking a career quiz to see what suits you.

I tell you what, waitressing is not a glory job, but it keeps you busy. I was raised in the restaurant business and I really loved the job. Plus if you are good you can make pretty good money at it. I haven't done it in a while now because I have a family to raise and fortunately I do not NEED to work.
