Do you believe in God? If so, why? Any stories to tell?

I guess what I want to know, is if you believe in God what has he done for you in your life that makes you believe in him or if you believe just because of the bible or other reasons. If you don't believe, you can just say so. Not judging here. Just a curious question that I wonder about sometimes too.

With the tests I have been put into in my lifetime, I have often questioned my faith. But at the end of the day, my answer is always yes.

Well when I was younger I went to church all the time. At one point I even wanted to be baptized but the people that I lived with wouldn't let me, they said that I was to bad for it and I would never be saved. From then on I never went back and havn't been since. I don't know if I believe in God. I have so many questions and when I ask I get the same old answer, that doesn't make any sence. Maybe one day when I get some proof. Until then I will be good to myself and to other poeple, not kill, and not lie. And I should be ok.

Sure. I don't believe in a guy in a white beard who cares whether or not my team wins. I don't believe in a particular religion, but I think following a religion's teaching and ceremonies is helpful for me and my family. I do believe that there is a power greater than me—whatever it is that created the cosmos. If you want to call it an unknown force that is fine with me. I know that I do not have such power and am both a tiny speck on a tiny planet circling a tiny star in a tiny solar system in a small corner of our universe (is there only one) and the other that I am the most important thing in my vision of the universe. Managing these two are helpful in mastering the perspective of narcissism.

Yes. Read the Bible. It's too long to post the stories on here. "God" or "Lord" is written at least once in every book.
