I just re-fell in love with Waylon Jennings.
I just love his voice, when singing Rambling Man or Amanda or Rainy Day Woman and Drinkin and Dreaming

You just can't beat the older music, theres nothing to compare to it today. A lot of good music but nothing like the outlaws.

I love the Highwaymen. Seven Spanish Angels is one of my all time favs. I'm just wondering how long I'm gonna get to keep this CD when my 11 yr old son finds out the Duke's of Hazard theme IS on it, He loves that show.

I think a whole new generation is learning Classic Country Music through the movies like walk the line
and Kenny Rogers through shows like American Idol.

If you like Waylon Jennings he formed a group called the highway men (Waylon Jennings, willie nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash). They did song like Seven Spanish Angles, The Highwaymen, and Me and Bobbie McGee

If you watch the old Dukes of hazards he is the one who sings the introduction song that has his hands playing a guitar in the beginning

I just burned a few cds full of CLASSIC country. Jim Reeves, Patsy Cline, Statler Brothers, David Frizell, Lane Brody, along with A LOT of others. I grew up listening to that era of music and havent stopped listening yet.

Yes, my husband loves classic country. He doesn't like country music from today, only Conway, Waylon, etc. I love it too, but I'm into all kinds of music, not just country.

Its the only counrty i like. Country music from the 50's 60's and early 70's is just awesome! The new stuff, however, blows(im my humble opinion)

There was some GREAT MUSIC back then---it seems to be being ignored by most Country stations today!

I was a Radio DJ 13 years ago...I still know my stuff!
