What music would be good for my band?

Question

I'm fat,short,not real pretty,but Ican sing to almost anything.I'm the front man of the band and the only one who can sing.I like every genre of music,but don't know what I should go with.Nor do the other two people,can someone throw some ideas at us.

the guy from blues traveller seemed to make that work. if your a cover band do oldies or somethin.

Don't worry about how you look. It's how you sound. Maybe you should try doing a few songs of different genres that you like the most. Like, a little soft rock, a little hardcore, a little country, a little punk. Whatever you like. Then think back on what you did. Think about how you felt while you were playing and singing, and what you felt most comfortable with. Also, record what you play, and then listen back and see which one sounded the best. Although, if you really felt good singing a certain genre, but didn't sound so good, that's okay. If you really like it than you can keep practicing. Just do whatever you feel right about doing. I wish you and your band luck.

you seem as a very talented guy, no matter how tall or how high you are but the talent you got. Why don't you try with something different like rithm & blues or pop rock? do you have some favorite music? maybe that kind of music is the best one for you.

Shoegaze. Go listen to Jesus & Mary Chain or My Bloody Valentine, and then make music like them, with really fuzzy distorted guitars, quiet, washed out vocals, and drone. That'd be cool, and if you like every genre it should be pretty easy.

use either rap or rock

or look at all the song you like look at the genre then the one with the most genres, then choses that one
