Google: Hide Now 2.0
Download it, run thru the set up, then just click on the check mark and all your history of stuff is gone, cookies, sites, even your recycle bin is emptied.
It's free by the way. I use it constantly

...^^Erm, aren't you talking about the address links or the history? (because the answerers are talking about history, but ..you said links+address bar...) ...Lol, ooook, anyway....
For my Internet Explorer, to erase links in the address bar, you would have to reset the "system" ...On the very top of the Internet Explorer page, you should see options, like File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, help, and such....Go to Tools and it will show a list of its options. At the bottom of the list, it says reset web settings.....and the rest is pretty obvious from there...^^
(...And if you ever want to erase history...there are visible tools on the toolbar sections...You know, the icons/buttons of "stop", "refresh", "home", "search", and such....There should be one with the picture of a clock or something...Click on it and it will be your history of online stuff. Then right click and it will show delete....and from then, again, it will be obvious...)
Hope this helps
