Sharp pains usually call for medical attention. He should see a doctor. My guess is that it's some kind of injury to the penis if you were messing with it or bending it the wrong way while it was erect, and maybe some sort of infection if not. Don't kidney stones hurt like that when they come out too? That sounds like something that it could be, but I don't know if it's possible for him to have that and not notice a stone passing out of his urine. Anyway, remember to take him to a doctor! Good night!

Just guessing, it was possibly a kidney stone which dissolved before it exited. He should be on the look out for this happening again. The pain can be in his back, in fact almost anywhere in the trunk of the body even the penis.

He may have an infection of some kind. From what I hear though if it is a kidney stone and he is trying to pass it........he will know it, they say it hurts like hell for a man to pass a kidney stone.
If this was a one time thing then I wouldn't worry about it to much maybe he got a strain or something.
But if it happens again then he may want to go see his doctor.
My dad has prostate problems and it causes him to have issues with urinating. It isn't cancer, it is an enlarged prostate. So your hubby may want to talk to his doctor and have his prostate checked.

I don't know. If it continues, then he should see a doctor, but if it stops then he is probably fine.
