I think they a trying to use the ps3 as a bully-stick to get gthe industry to accept their blue-ray dvd technology over the hd-dvd format.

I have a question for you. What exactly did Sony do to "revolutionize" the console industry? I think revolutionize is the wrong word to use here. They were successful, but they did not revolutionize the industry. I do agree that they messed up pretty badly with the PS3. They are probably just to bent on power and money.

It is not so much missing the mark as being incredibly control freaked about everything they put out. Sony freaks out when the stuff they put out is hacked and improved.

No, I actually work with THE people who made the PS1, PS2, and the PS3. But we were not doing coke and success did not go to our heads, we were smoking marijuana! DUH! It's so obvious!
