This is stupid I know but due to certain religions Halloween is not classified as a regular holiday such a new years, fourth of July, Thanksgiving and X-Mas. This is due to their theory that Halloween is the devils holiday not Gods therefore we should not celebrate or we will all go to hell. Other cultures such as the some hispanic countries believe that it's all souls day when souls wander the earth and it's not to be celebrated.

It is probably because people in general tend to think of Halloween "All Hallow's Eve" is Satanic. It is NOT...it is the Celtic New Year...a time for Celebrating the Dead who have Crossed Over to the next Plane.
PLEASE go to the Link provided to learn more about the Holiday. Also, on a side note: All the Holidays that the Christians claim as their own...are actually Pagan Holidays...look up the History!

Yeah, it's a pretty important holiday, certainly more so than St. Pat's or Kwanzaa. Also- it's coming up much sooner than any other holiday here.
