Can anybody really tell me how he died or tell me where I can see it?? I wanna know cuz I didn't know until a few hrs. ago.

Steve Irwin was swimming off Cairns on the great Barrier Reef. Apparently he swam over a stingray which then speared him in his chest with its barb . He pulled it out before he died which would have been damaging as the barb has a serated edge which hooks into its victims as it pumps the poison in. His friends have been interviewed on Australian television saying that there was nothing that could be done. There were also conflicting reports that his daughter was with him at the time but footage of his wife and children leaving Tasmania was shown and his daughter was clearly visible. The footage has been handed to the police and I don't think that it will be made publicly available.

He died from a stingray barb he swam over the top of it and the barb stabbed him straight in the heart. and where he died was on the Great Barrier Reef where Low Isles just a small Island just outside of PORT DOUGLAS. He died in a helicopter where he was supposed be taken to Mossman Hospital. Sad story it's all affected everyone worldwide by hearing and seeing it in the Papers, T.V news, Radio.

He died because of a stingray poked its barb in his heart the website I found it on was and I saw it on KUSI channel 51 for people in CA I was so sad when I saw that he died He was only 44

he got stung by a stingray when he was filming a documentary on the Great Barrier Reef in Austarlia
Usually stingray's sting doesn't kill it was just that the venom went to his heart

he was killed by a stingray barb off the great barrier reef filming for his daughters soon to be show, thats it, he was a good man and will be surely missed, I can only hope we learn from his example.
