A concussion results from a significant blow to the head. Symptoms can range from mild to severe. They can include:
Loss of consciousness
Memory loss (amnesia) of events surrounding the injury
Headache
Emergency signs:
Persistent unconsciousness (coma)
Altered level of consciousness (drowsy, hard to arouse, or similar changes)
Persistent confusion
Convulsions
Repeated vomiting
Unequal pupils
Unusual eye movements
Muscle weakness on one or both sides
Walking problems
Call your health care provider if anyone has a head injury that produced unconsciousness, or a head injury without unconsciousness produced symptoms that caused concern.
Go to the emergency room, call the local emergency number (such as 911), or contact your health care provider immediately if emergency symptoms develop.

the most obvious symptoms are dizziness, spotty vision, nausea, and frequent headaches. if you're seriously concerned, have someone wake you up in the middle of the night, and if there's a problem waking you up, then you should seek medical attention.

When I had mine, in addition to the headache, there was nausea and disorientation. A friend who had one, developed seizures. I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can think of.
