Ahhh me too!!!!! In November.... This will be my 3rd cruise, I love 'em!
-sunscreen, duh!
-evening wear - there's typically a captains dinner or something to that effect, some people go in formal evening wear. I think some ships make jackets required for men-check the cruise line
-you'll need swimwear and casual wear too. Take a look at the various shore excursions, if there's anything like horseback riding or hiking or whatever and you want to do that, make sure to pack long pants
-your blow dryer, unless your content with their equivalant-think hotel room dryer. All the regular toiletries really...shampoo, conditioner, razor, soap, toothpaste etc. etc.
Don't forget your camera!!!! and Have FUN!
Ahh almost forgot... a beach towel! they may not allow the cruise line towels off the ship, so come prepared with your own.

half the clothes and 2x the money you will think you need. I usually have one set of formals. Even though there are 2 formal nights, I wear the same suit on both of them. During the day, I wear t-shirts and shorts and eithor tennis shoes or sandels. At dinner time, I usually switch into a pair of dockers, reg shoes and a polo type shirt and usually stay in those clothes for the rest of the evening unless it is too hot. Also, on shore excursions you will need clothes for that and of course swim wear if you have a water based excursion, maybe also a cheap pair of tennis shoes that you can throw away. I have had to do that on a few excrusions. Also, alot of ships don't supply hair dryers or if they do, they are very weak. Think beauty parlor in the 70's. Some ships supply a decent amount of toiltries, and some don't. As far as how to pack. I have an easy system, I get out the suitcases and they magically fill up. I think my wife may have something to do with that. Take a look around cruisecritic.com

You are so lucky, I wish I were going back right now.
Pack light you won't need that much.
2 sets of Sunday clothes / shoes
3 sets of casual Friday clothes / shoes
2 bathing suits
4 shorts / flip flops or sandals
6 t-shirts to match the shorts / Or you can substitute casual Friday shirts if you must.
Medication and makeup
Camera or video recorder
Anything you forget , They have it or sell it.
Remember the most important commandment:
" Don't be yourself "
You are going on a cruise to have fun and gain memories, Keep your common sense at 100%, However you must put most of your morals on hold until you get back.
Have fun and good luck

Pack lightweight clothes. NO JEANS OR DENIM. Roll your clothes in "sets". For formal nights, bring one long skirt or flared pants and different tops. Bring good sun lotion cause you will burn quickly. I've started going to a tanning booth two weeks before departure to "prepare my skin" for the rays.
Bring loose fitting clothes. Also pack a lightweight cover up for cool night walks on deck. ENJOY.
