Set aside a study time from your already packed day. Trying to study at work will affect both your work AND your study.
Set aside at least an hour. Go someplace where you won't be disturbed. If you can't do this at home, consider the Library, a coffee shop or even your college's student center. If you are on a tight schedule, set a timer so you won't have to watch the time while you study.
I always studied alone. Mainly because if you set up a study session with another person, you spend a lot of your time scheduling time, waiting on them, and meeting. If you only have to worry about yourself, you spend less time getting to the studying and more time actually studying.
Good luck.

Don't socialize during classtime.
Take good notes.
When you go home each day, rewrite what you learned that day in your own words.
Never go a day w/o studying... even if you have a class twice a week, study a little on each off day. Otherwise it's a huge strain to remember everything and really understand the new material in the next class.
Setting a schedule, where you study at the same time everyday would help... even if its for different lengths of time on your off days.
Try to study with someone else... it helps throwing ideas back and forth. Even if you're ahead of them, you learn even better by teaching.
Definitely don't cram .
And take your classes seriously from day one. Often times people are slack and don't put their effort into the first few classes and tests (which are usually the easiest) and it puts pressure on you at the end, when you're trying to get a good grade and only have 2 tests or a final to do it in.
Good Luck... hope you do well.

The best way to study is to do it right after your class (if you have time). If you dont have time after class then when you get home. Just review your notes and do some homework before you go to bed. I would take half a day during the week and relax. Go out and spend time with friends/boyfriend/family. This way you wouldnt go insane. Try to create schedules for yourself...the secret is working backwards from your due date. Its hard but it really works!! And try not to procastinate...it wastes time!! I wish you all the best of luck!! I'm a student also and sometimes it gets really hard, so I really understand :)

Try spacing out your studies, don't study in one night for something. Get LOTS OF SLEEP! Highly suggested. And have some fun, a social life is very important. It will help you relax. Take time to yourself. Working full time is tough with full time classes. Do not give up on college, if you need more time, then cut a few hours from work.
GOOD LUCK!

first of all, pay close attention in class. If you want to study and work out at the same time, either read your notes while taking a walk or read them while on the treadmill. If your at work, study on your breaks. What also helps is lots of sleep and protein to help your brain function better.

review what you learned the same day you learned it. take a 15 minute break for every hour that you study. and separate your subjects the best you can, like....dont do english, then spanish, then math. instead, you would want to do english, math, spanish, etc. also, if you are missing out on your favorite tv show or something like that, and you are thinking about it, you will be less productive while trying to study. make time for the things you like to do so that you can concentrate. also, try to get enough sleep. i hope this helps. good luck. blessed be.

If you can I would workout in the morning before work I find it wakes me up and I have more energy during the day. After work relax for 1/2 hour and then hit the books for 2hours taking note of important concepts.
Go over your notes a half hour before you go to bed and do another quick review over coffee in the morning if you do this daily you shouldn't have any problems at school.

Use flashcards. I know it sounds elementary but it is great. You can cut regular index cards in half and either write or glue types information on them. On the back you can write the keyword to prompt you on the ideas. Or you can just use index cards for notes. They are small enough to keep in a purse/pocket and its easy to go through a couple in a 5 minute break. Good Luck! I am attempting a similar thing this semester (just substitute a baby for working out).

I have 3 notebooks per class. One is for note taking during the class. The second is to summarize each chapters in the class. The third is to do home works.
Actually, the first two are one big notebook, fist being from the front and second being from the back....
It helps me to better organize my notes for easy reference and refresh my head much easier than if they are all mixed up in one notebook.
It may help you to better utilize your time as it will allow you to quickly look up subjects.
I do all homework on timely bases. During my homework, I note all questions for the next class where I meet with my professor in his office before the class to go over my questions.
My study for the test consists of summarizing each chapters. (this is where entries into the second notebook is created) If I can't summarize one chapter in one or two pages, then it tells me I don't understand the subject.
It helps me identify my weaknesses so I can focus on what I need to know, rather than blindly going over all materials.
