Yes, some still have a period every month, but some miscarry when bleeding, so it is impossible to tell which one it is. You will have to repeat the pregnancy test. If it is still positive and you continue to bleed you will have to get that checked out. You should be seeing someone anyway for prenatal vitamins and blood work and such. early prenatal care is so very important. Also if you start to develop Any pain with this bleeding go to the ER immediately. Pain+ bleeding+ positive preg test may indicate an ectopic pregnancy.

Yes...sometimes periods don't stop right away. Lack of a period is not the only sign that a women may be pregnant. You have to remember that the menstrual cycle is always changing. I mean, women can actually start to menstrate at the same time that other women do, who they are hanging around a lot. Pregnancy tests never give a fasle positive because it is a hormone in the urine it is picking up. You can get a false negative, obviously if the hormone isn't strong enough to be detected yet, or didn't get a good sample. If someone you know had a positiv reading on a pregnancy test, she is pregnant. She needs to see an obgyn and also tell the doctor that she has been bleeding since then.

Yes it is possible, you could have two.
It could also mean you have a false positive on your test. Follow up with your doctor and have him or her run a serum Hcg test (blood test) to be absolutely sure you are pregnant, if you are mention to the doctor you are still having you period. It's rare but not uncommon to do this.

Low progesterone levels can cause bleeding in pregnancy, which can eventually lead to miscarriage. Best advice is to go to the doc.
