You ever notice how rich celebrities are playing roles in television and movies as middle class people? Can the rich get their kicks any other way than laughing at us poor people?

The reason they play the middle class is because most of us are & if we can identify with them, the actor, their popularity will soar & they will be more valuble to the acting community. This way they can command more money for their work. Also, the more popular an actor or the character is the more we watch & the more money advertisers make from us that watch.

Well rich celebrities didn't all start off rich. Julia Roberts for example is from Millegeville, GA and being from GA I know they aren't exactly living in mansion in Millegeville. And she's one of (at one point) the highest paid actresses today. So it's not a matter of laughing at poor people, I'm sure there are alot of celebrities that can relate to the situations of lower class (lower income) society.

Well in all fairness we support them by tuning in and buying the latest fashion, just to stay in to the following crowd, so that makes them pretty smart market management smiling all the way to the bank. Additionally, I don't believe all rich people get kicks out of laughing at the poor, just the spoilled and arroagant bratty ones. Thanks for asking.

They should try it for REAL for 6 months. In fact, all rich people should have to live at the poverty level for some time. They have no clue. And they can't do anything illegal to get by. Most of us don't.

How is that unrealistic?Most people weren't born rich.Look at Hilary Swank,Scarlett Johanson,or Anna Nicole Smith.They all lived in a trailer before they made it big.
