14 = 2 x 7, So somehow you have to come up with the numbers 2 and 7 and multiply them.
To get a 7, you could use 8 - 8/8
To get a 2, you could use (8+8)/8
So you need to waste 3 more 8's which is harder than it looks. So how about adding one more eight to the equation to get a 2 so instead you get a 3. Then subtract a 1 = 8/8

((8+8+8)/8-8/8)(8-8/8) = 14

I'll do your homework for you: (8+8+8+8+8+8+(8*8))/8=14
8+8+8+8+8+8 = 48
8*8=64
64+48=112
112/8=14

((8*8) + (8*8) +8 -8 - 8 - 8 ) / 8
=(64 + 64 +8 -8 -8 -8) / 8
=(128 +8 -8 -8 -8) / 8
=(136 - 24) / 8
= 112 / 8
= 14
