We have been together close to 7 years, not married and neither of us have kids. we each live in our own home (we each own) and we spend 3-4 nights a week together , we are considering moving in together. We are concerned the changes that may take place may not all be good ones. The time we spend together now is truely quality time, we wonder if the time together will become routine rather than special as it is now. after 7 years I do feel there is something lacking in our relationship but we both fear that we may loose the special quality we have now, as my boyfriend has said "if it aint broke why fix it". we have heard from other couples that when you live together they sometimes become "ships passing in the night" are there any other (current or former) 2 houshold couples out there? and how did it work for you?

You sure may loose that special quality. Sometimes less is more. When you see each other now, it is like a date. When you move in together, it isn't quite the same. Since you aren't going to have children (right?) you really don't even have to marry...... something to consider is what your sweetie said -- "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

I am the type of person that is all about the 1x1 time. True, you guys may spend 3 to 4 nights a week together but if you both know that you want to be with one another... why not take it to the next level? My relationship improved more when me and my man started living together. We learned more about each other, some things we liked and others we didn't but the bottom line is we tried it. At this point, neither of us regret it. If you have faith in the relationship, then there is nothing to worry about. Regardless, if it's meant to be it will be and if it's not meant to be, then it won't be.

My husband and I saw each other more when we were just dating and living in separate houses. I think it is just too easy now to put each other on the back burner and take each other for granted.

have you ever been "satisfied" the final 7 yrs? If the respond is "particular" then like your boyfriend says, "no count if it fairly is not broke do not fix it!" be "satisfied" with the three-4 nights a week, have faith me from "journey" it fairly is not the quantity of the time it fairly is the "high quality" of time that concerns! you sense some thing is lacking after 7 yrs? some thing's lacking!? Like a marriage or a stay in concern ?i think of issues are not the way they "used" to be and you the two determine in case you have been residing mutually rather of seperately it could "seal" the relationship, am I precise? in case you progression in mutually, it is your coverage plans that the relationship continues to be working! If there's a transformation on your relationship you may desire to "communicate" that between you! some extra days a week of being mutually might desire to not remedy what's lacking on your relationship! in case you do not understand what's lacking on your relationship now , i think of you the two might desire to take a seat and artwork on sorting out what it rather is "in the previous" you bypass making any differences! issues will "replace" in case you do decide to bypass in mutually, no question! The question is, for the extra suited or worse, and are you prepared to "risk" the relationship you have now, residing seperately? i could take "high quality" over "quantity" each time!
