If f(x)=2, that means no matter what x is, the answer is 2. So f(-4) = 2

This is linear. F(x) is y on a graph. It's a horizontal line through 2 on the y-axis.

We can estimate fx via looking at that as x goes from 1.5 to 2.5, with y = 1 constant, f seems to go from about 9 to 12. For that reason fx(2, 1) is approximately 3. As y goes from zero.5 to 1.5, with x = 2 fixed, f goes from about eleven to about 9, so fy(2, 1) is roughly -2.

we may be able to estimate fx through observing that as x is going from a million.5 to 2.5, with y = a million fastened, f seems to pass from about 9 to twelve. for this reason fx(2, a million) is about 3. As y is going from 0.5 to a million.5, with x = 2 fastened, f is going from about 11 to about 9, so fy(2, a million) is variety of -2.

If you meant to type the second "f" as lower case, then this means that no matter what is in the parentheses, you always get the same thing: 2.

If that is supposed to be a capital F, I'm not sure what you mean.

y = f(x) = 2

y = 2

The function is a straight line, y = 2, so it is linear.

Since f(x) = 2,

f(-4) = 2

We can estimate fx by means of looking at that as x is going from one million.five to two.five, with y = one million constant, f turns out to head from approximately nine to twelve. Therefore fx(two, one million) is roughly three. As y is going from zero.five to one million.five, with x = two constant, f is going from approximately eleven to approximately nine, so fy(two, one million) is approximately -two.

For any real value of x,f(x)=2
Now, (-4) is a real value of x
So, f(-4)=2

This is linear.f(x) denotes y on a graph.
