Easy. Jimmy Pappin scored with 36 seconds to go in the second period of Game 6. Toronto went on to defeat Montreal 3-1 in the game, 4-2 in the last Cup series of the Original Six era.

Pappin went on to appear in the final twice more with the losing Chicago Black Hawks in 1971 and 1973.

The Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Montreal Canadiens, 4 games to 3 to win the Stanley Cup in 1967. Montreal won Game 1, 6-2, Toronto won games 2 and 3, Montreal won Game 4, Toronto won Game 5, Montreal won Game 6, and Toronto won the deciding seventh game. The Maple Leafs were the oldest team to ever win the Stanley Cup with an average age of 31. Dave Keon won the Conn Smythe Trophy as Playoff MVP.
