Pain wasn't invented it was created by Almighty God and when you think about it pain is a good thing.
Suppose you nerves were killed off and no longer sensitive to pain you wouldn't know whether you were cooking in boiling water or stone cold solid freezing because you wouldn't have any pain receptors.
Pain has existed from all times since creation because God says to Eve I will greatly INCREASE your child bearing pain. Therefore even before the world was fallen due to sin entering the world pain existed meaning pain is good for God looked at all He created and said it was good.
As a result of sin pain helps us acknowledge God when we refuse to do so. It is our receptor. So anything that brings you closer to God no matter how painful has to be a good thing. Painful yes but eternally beneficial.

I guess that would have to be god (if you are a believer)... because supposedly, life was going to be pain free until adam and eve bit from the apple.

GOD.
without pain, we wont learn from mistakes.
there was this gurl with a weird nervous system, and whenever she hurts herself physically, she doesnt get hurt. so.. she bites her hand and watver and dont feel anything so she keeps on doing it. now she has .. well.. "ew" looking body.
