the main point is to end the suffering of a living being in a kind and humane way.
Sadly , when Dr. Kavorkian did it, the govt stepped in and he was jailed for doing a good deed.
that is the hypocracy of the govt. keep the sick alive long enough to drain their life savings, never mind the suffering the family does that has to watch their loved one die miserably, and the tax money sick people have to live on while they are dying...euthanising should be legal as long as it is performed by someone who is licensed to perfom the act and the situation warrants it. IMHO

"euthanasia" means the following:

the act or practice of killing or permitting the death of hopelessly sick or injured individuals (as persons or domestic animals) in a relatively painless way for reasons of mercy

it's not a place that would have a government or laws. Please re-phrase your question.
