The three angles must add to 180
74 + 41 + x = 180
115 + x = 180
x = 65
This triangle is acute because all the angles are less than 90 degrees.

A triangle has three sides and three corners. The corners are measured in 'angles.' This let you classify a triangle. If all the angles are the same then all the sides will have to be the same too. This kind of triangle is called an 'equilateral triangle.' If only two of the sides are equal, then the triangle is called an 'isosceles triangle.' Triangles can also be classified by the size of the angles. If one of the angles is 90 degrees, then it is called a 'right triangle.' If one of the angels is more than 90 degrees, then the triangle is an 'obtuse triangle.' If all the angles are less than 90 degrees, then the triangle is called an 'acute triangle.'

All three angles in a triangle must add up to exactly 180 degrees.
So, use this formula to get the 3rd angle:
74 + 41 + x = 180
Add 74 and 41:
115 + x = 180
Subtract 115 from each side:
x = 65
The third angle is 65 degrees.

This triangle an 'acute triangle' because all the angles are less than 90 degrees.

Sum of internal angles of a triangle adds up to 180 degrees.

Let the three angles be X,Y, Z.
Let
X=74
Y=41
To Find Z

X+Y+Z = 180

74+41+Z= 180
115+Z=180
Z=180-115
Z= 65

So the third angle measures 65 degrees

Since all the angles are acute so it is a acute triangle

( Other type of triangles are
1. Right triangle - when any one angle is 90 degrees
2. Obtuse triange - when any one angle is obtuse.
)

Lori: the internal angles of a triangle add to 180 degrees.

so A + B + C = 180

A= 74
B = 41

Need to solve for C

C = 180 - (74+41)
C = 65 degrees

As far as classification goes, all three angles are less than 90 degrees. This makes this triangle an acute triangle.

Good luck.

the three angles of a triangle add upto 180'
let the third angle be x
74+41+x=180
115+x=180
x=180-115
x=65'
this is an acute triangle as all the angles are less than 90'

i am really really good at math so i can easily help you. all the angle of a triangle add up to 180 degrees no matter what. so 74+41=115 180-115=65 your answer is 65 degrees

2006-09-04 14:57:52 · answer #6 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

65 degrees because:
74 degrees + 41 degrees = 115 degrees
180 degrees - 115 degrees = 65 degrees
and checking my work:
65+74=139, 139+41=180
using the calculator for the checking work part
