everything on the net wants your money.

The net is not just about money.

This site is free; we do not pay or get paid for replying, although there is a point system, it hasn't turned into a money thing...

The net has 2 sides, a commercial side, and a more personal passion driven side. People who are lazy are often rail-roaded into the pay-sites via Search Engine Marketing.

Companies pay search engines to put their web-addresses on top, and some people leave it as that. Others dig more and find free gems, which are often of at least as good quality.

On the other hand, shopping via the net is a great thing. Yes you pay for the goods/services, but you would pay if yu shopped in a bricks-and-mortar shop.

I would say: 'Funny how many people pay for things they could get for free on the net'.

Everyone wants money..

Thus, every creation will reflect such state..

Nonetheless, I have never spent on the net, and have been using it for 10 years!

So.. what was the question again? Oh yeah: funny..

:-)

True, the internet is turning into television. But there is so much more out there, outside the mainstream, to make it worthwhile.
